CB certification:
The IECEE CB system is the first truly international system to be recognized by the safety test report of electrical products. A multilateral agreement is formed between national certification bodies (NCB) in each country, and the manufacturer can obtain national certification from the other member states of the CB system with a CB test certificate issued by an NCB.
The CB system is based on IEC standards. If the national standards of some member states are not fully aligned with the IEC standards, they also allow the existence of national differences, but should be published to other members. The CB system USES the CB test certificate to confirm that the product samples have successfully passed the appropriate tests, and conforms to the relevant IEC requirements and requirements of the relevant member states.
CB system's main goal is to promote international trade, the means is by promoting the unity of the national institute of standards and international standards coordination and cooperation, product certification organizations and make the manufacturer is closer to the ideal of "more than a test, apply" goal. Historically, the CB system was initiated by CEE (a former national committee on the testing of electrical equipment in Europe) and merged with IEC in 1985.
